Thomas DiDonato was named senior vice president and chief administrative officer of Lear Corporation in March 2019. He provides the strategic direction and operational leadership for global human resources and serves as a member of the company’s executive council.
Prior to joining Lear in 2012, DiDonato served as executive vice president, human resources, for American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., where he led global human resources, public affairs and communications. Previously, he was chief people officer for The H. J. Heinz Company after joining the company as vice president, human resources, for Heinz North America. Earlier experiences included leading human resources for Merck Medco and heading worldwide staffing for PepsiCo. DiDonato began his career as a human resources manager at Kraft Foods Group.
DiDonato earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Washington & Jefferson College and a Master of Science in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University.
He is active in the community, having served on the American Eagle Outfitters Foundation and the H. J. Heinz Company Foundation.
